All Twp. Schools With Power, Ready for Monday

Old Farmers Road School online Sunday afternoon.

All Washington Township Schools will operate normally Monday, including West Morris Central High School, as power has been restored to those facilities.

After two full weeks without power, all five schools serving Washington Township students will run normal bell schedules to start the work week. However, there will be changes in bus pick-ups and drop-offs.

"We hope our families are recovering from the storm and stand ready to offer you our assistance should there be a need," said Superintendent Jeff Mohre in Sunday's Honeywell instant alert.

The K-8 school district enacted a contingency plan on Saturday in the event Old Farmers Road School–the last remaining building without power–was still in the dark come Monday. That plan will no longer be needed.

For a full list of bus route changes for West Morris Central High School, visit the school's website by clicking on this link.

An attached PDF to this article outlines the changes in bus routes made to the K-8 bus routes.

Thanks so much for the comments, everyone, and I hope you're all safe and with power! @Donna - Not sure if politics is the place for me. Everything you do is up for public criticism, and I wouldn't know anything about that! Hahahaha! :)
