Anti-Bullying Writer Signs Books at Library
Success of Matt Liberato's book continues to climb.
All Matt Liberato wanted to do was complete a school project and hopefully make a difference for some of his peers.
But his fictional book, "The Power of a Wrestler," has gained major attention recently, as Liberato held a book signing at the Washington Township Library recently.
Created to fulfill a requirement for his sixth grade social studies class, Liberato spent months writing and editing his tale as his Change the World project under the direction of Long Valley Middle School teacher Matt Marciano.
In addition to the book signing, Liberato has been featured on NJ12 News and read to a class of fourth-graders at Chatham Elementary School where his father teaches.
The book takes readers through a journey of a sixth grader–a wrestler–who stands up to a bully in a non-violent way who has been picking on a classmate.
