Club Cancels 'Mayfest' to Help Lightner Rally

Long Valley Junior Womens' Club cancels "Mayfest" to support "Rally in the Valley" Fundraiser
The Long Valley Junior Women’s Club announces the cancellation of their Mayfest fundraiser scheduled for Friday, May 4, instead lending their support to the fundraiser benefitting Long Valley youth, Glenn Lightner's battle against cancer.
The Long Valley Junior Women's Club will be donating their Mayfest Silent Auction items to the Rally and running the Silent Auction that evening.

“With such an emotional event taking place in town the week before our fundraiser, it seemed like the appropriate thing to do,” said Kristina Cunningham, President of the Long Valley Juniors Women’s Club. “We are about helping those in our community first and foremost.”
The LVJWC encourages community members that had planned on attending Mayfest to attend the Rally in the Valley instead. For tickets and further information contact Dorene Rettas 973-713-1097 or Mary Ann Macintyre 908-850-8576. Tickets will only be available for pre-sale.
