Cops: Intoxicated Driver Found Sitting in Car at 7-Eleven

The following information was provided by the Bloomingdale Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

A 22-year-old Long Valley man was found sitting in his vehicle Sunday at the 7-Eleven at Riverside Square, allegedly intoxicated, according to Bloomingdale police.

Police said they also found what they believe to be marijuana in the car.

Colin Wyder was charged with DWI, possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance (CDS) and possession of a CDS in a motor vehicle.

Police said they found Wyder around 2:18 a.m. after receiving a report of an allegedly intoxicated driver. When police spoke to Wyder, they allegedly noticed signs of intoxication and he was arrested.

Wyder was transported to the police station and his vehicle was impounded. He was released to a family member with a ticket to appear in court at a later date.
