Editor Takes a Break, Site is in Good Hands
Your favorite Long Valley newsman will be away for a week.
We all need a breather every now and again, and for Long Valley Patch’s editor, Jason Koestenblatt, that time is now.
I’ll be away from the Patch universe from Sunday, April 29 through Monday, May 7. Don’t worry, I’ll be back in the saddle taking care of business first thing on the morning of Tuesday, May 8.
Just because I’m gone doesn’t mean the world will end (of course it won’t, Jason–you’re not that important). And neither will Long Valley Patch.
In fact, there will be a handful of wonderful Patch editors keeping an eye on the site during my absence, bringing you all the news and information you’ve grown accustomed to.
So while I’m gone, if you’ve got an urgent message, shoot an email to Lou Hochman, one of Patch’s Regional Editors in Morris County, at louis@patch.com. If you’ve got a news tip or something you’d like to share, but isn’t an emergency, send it to longvalley@patch.com, and someone will respond to you as soon as possible.
And if you miss me so much you can’t bear to not communicate, send me an email, read my away message, and I’ll get back to you once I return.
While I may be gone from work for a while, I won’t be gone from Long Valley the entire time. Maybe a day trip here and there with the family, but this week off is more about getting the house in order and getting some much needed rest.
I’m looking forward to ‘seeing’ you all again when I get back, and excited about the warm weather months in Long Valley.
But, for now, it’s time to de-Patch for a bit. Enjoy the site while I’m away, and thanks so much for your support.

Note to self: Time is right to accelerate my expansionist agenda...
