Kid Photographers Show Their Stuff at LVMS

Junior Women's Club sponsors 13th annual event.

 

The Long Valley Junior Women’s Club hosted its 13th Annual Photo Contest at the Long Valley Middle School on March 16. Open to all Long Valley Middle School students, this year’s contest featured 26 students and six categories such as Nature and Still Life. 

Submissions were judged with assistance from local photographer Jean Fordyce. Prizes were made possible with donations made by Chester Camera, NY Pizza in Chester, Subway in Chester, DQ in Chester, Clearview Cinemas in Chester, Taylor's Ice Cream and Fordyce Studios.  The Best overall winner was Hayley Capilitan. Other winners of the 2012 LVJWC Photo Contest included:

I will stop by the Library today to look at all the photographs on display. Having seen past results of photos and other art exhibits by students in Washington Township I am sure they be great.
