Washington Township Mayor Ken Short shared Nordstrom's sentiments, saying he was a major supporter of the governor, but would like to see him continue his efforts in the Garden State.

"I don't think his heart is in it (to run)," Short said. "I'd like to see him on a national level, and he would have my full support, but he's doing so much great work in our state. He's taken the bureaucracy out of politics, and he just gets things done."
