Patch is re-launching its Readers’ Choice program and we’re asking you, your friends, family, neighbors, coworkers and anyone else who knows about salons and spas to nominate the best spots in Long Valley Patch.
We’ll keep accepting nominations through July 9. After that, nominations will be closed and we’ll start the voting, so make sure to get in your favorites now.
All you need to do to nominate a business is to add it in the comments below. If you already see the business you want to nominate, make sure to add your comment about why it should be included, because we may not be able to add all businesses to our poll and we want to make sure the top ones make it into the poll.

I love Stella Valentine! I followed Charlie there when it opened (she originally worked at another salon for years). I have been getting my hair cut by her for about 4-5 years now and I am never unsatisfied with it. I LOVE the atmosphere there. I leave feeling relaxed and happy. After paying an arm and a leg at the other place she worked it, I am so happy that I can get a really nice cut for a reasonable price. I love the staff at the salon too, so warm and friendly. The owners are two women that worked together for years and have years over years of experience. It is nice to know that two hard working women from town can make a business a success!!!

Joanne, it's in the Long Valley Professional building near The Valley restaurant. I'm not an employee. ;). The two women who opened it late last year have cut and styled my hair for years, many of their customers followed them to SV. It's a great place, excellent services and reasonable prices.

OMG, Stella Valentine is awesome! I started going to Charlie for my cut and Marie for my color earlier in the spring. My hair has never looked better! They are located right between the Valley Pub and the Pizza shop.

The Village Salon at Long Valley....hands down! The salon is inviting. The owner and her staff are highly skilled and make you feel at home the instant you walk through the door. As an added bonus, they have a wonderful boutique. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Frank Anthony. I have been a cilent there for 26 years. They are continually training their staff on the current styles and trends involved in all aspects of beauty. The staff is always polite, enthusiastic, and honest.

I love the Village Salon! It feels like 'Cheers' when I go in there....Laurie, the owner is absolutely lovely and the rest of the staff are great as well! The boutique has fabulous little finds and I've purchased many items there. They are part of the LVVA and are just plain awesome!! Love all the ladies there:)
