Question: Is There More Traffic in Long Valley?

Everyone has opinions. Patch is the place to share them.

The question for Tuesday, Oct. 11 has an effect on every resident of Long Valley.

Is there more traffic in town recently?

Surely, on the weekends in the fall, plenty of out-of-towners come through for the scenery, local farms and events. But on a day-to-day basis, have you noticed an uptick in vehicle volume?

Let's break it down further: If so, have you noticed more cars, or more commercial-use vehicles? Or both?

Or, maybe you think we're crazy, and haven't noticed this at all. Either way, let us know your thoughts in the comments section below, and be sure to vote in our poll.

As always, thanks for your participation.

Only during special events or DPW activity do I notice the traffic. Otherwise. It’s about the same. For many, Beacon Hill (where I live) is a short cut to Rt. 78, so our patterns of traffic are pretty consistent with commuter hours.

What I have noticed is how many drivers cross the double yellow line on curves thinking they are Ralley drivers....especially on the way down the mountain to Hackettstown.
