Good morning - Mountain View Ave is now open end to end. Please be careful near the big turn as the transformer is still laying in the road with high power lines.

When you say; "Power has been restored to the northern side of Schooley’s Mountain beyond the Schooley’s Mountain Firehouse...", I assume you're referring specifically to power on Schooley's Mountain Road. My house is technically north of the firehouse on Schooley's Mountain, and we still don't have power.

I'm at 309 Schooleys Mountain Road and we still don't have power. It's just north of flocktown road intersection which i assume would be included when one says north of the firehouse

Any information on propane deliveries in Long Valley? Not getting any answer from Amerigas and will soon be out of propane...

Let me clarify my question...Amerigas is not giving an ETA, not giving permission for their customers (who rent their tank!) to go to other 3rd parties...simply not communicating - is it demand they can not keep up with? shortage of propane, road closures? It is my first time dealing with them since I had Synergy before (Amerigas bought Synergy) and Synergy was great. Shocked at what I'm learning about Amerigas.

I'm. At 69 schooleys mtn rd and we finally had a utility worker come by and take pictures! This is the first tiny sign that anyone at jcp&l knows we exist. Can we please get a different power company? I am growing weary of the inefficiencies to say the least!

Between Tuesday and Thursday, I've seen three different repair trucks visit the south side of Schooley's Mountain Rd. taking pictures and taking notes, why so many visits? This information should have been collected on the first visit and the following visit should have been a repair crew. At this point, I don't want to see another camera, but tools in hand!

Naughright Road at Arrowhead is closed. Haven't seen any JCP & L trucks at all anywhere in Long Valley. I heard of WRNJ that we will have voting on Tuesday, some districts will vote in different locations, is the patch going to give out that info? There is no where in Long Valley that has free internet access that i am aware of, there are a few in Hackettstown, Greenes Beans Coffee Shop is one, the Hackettstown Library is another.

Hey Sher Stec - Thanks for the comment. We've been trying to get in touch with public officials throughout the day regarding elections, trick-or-treating and power outages, to name a few. We have also been trying to get in touch with members of JCP&L, but it's been very difficult to do so (and we've heard of Verizon cell phone outages as well). We're working very hard at getting as much information as possible. Once we have it, there will be a story with that information.
Thanks again for the comment and stay warm!
