Renowned Christian Songwriter and Singer, Darrell Evans will be in concert
at St Luke Church at 8:00 PM on Friday November 9th. St Luke’s is located at 265 West Mill Road in Long Valley, New Jersey.
The concert is for the benefit of Operation Chillout (http://operationchillout.org/), a
grass roots organization dedicated to helping the homeless.
Darrell is best known for his songs “Trading My Sorrows”, Let The River
Flow”, “Your Love Is Extravagant” and “Freedom”. Darrell’s projects “Let the River Flow” and
“Freedom” both garnered Dove award nominations and influenced a new wave of
congregational worship. His newest
project, “Nothing Less Than Everything”, wraps his joy, passion and experience
in a fresh and powerful sound. In Darrell’s words, “It’s my prayer that the
Lord will use these songs to help people connect with Jesus in a life-changing
way”.
There is no admission charge for the concert, there will be a free will
offering collected for Operation Chillout.
A donation of $10 is suggested.

More About St. Luke Parish
St. Luke Parish, headed by Father Michael Drury, has been on West Mill Road since December of 1989. This Roman Catholic church was founded in 1982 and held mass in the Long Valley Middle School cafeteria until July of 1984, when it moved to a rectory on Carl Lane. Five years later the church moved to its current location and now hosts approximately 1,300 families. St. Luke Parish offers a preschool, play groups and a wide variety of other activities and events.
