Storm Could Bring 10 Inches of Snow Tuesday

National Weather Service says accumulation to last from morning commute to evening drive.

Up to 10 inches of snow could blanket the area Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service.

A winter storm watch was issued Monday for much of New Jersey, including Morris County. The timing of the snowfall is expected between Tuesday morning and evening with the heaviest snowfall coming in the afternoon.

Road conditions are expected to become hazardous, especially late in the day, the National Weather Service said. Winds between 10 and 20 miles per hour are also expected, which will be coupled with temperatures in the low-20s that will dip into the teens.
