Watch Long Valley Bear Scurry Up 30-Foot Tree

Car horn sends rummaging bear into the clouds.

You know the saying, "they're more afraid of you than you are of them."

While bears are large, immensely strong creatures, their aggressiveness toward locals has been nonexistent recently despite a seemingly ever-growing presence in Washington Township.

See how many bears have been spotted by Long Valley Patch readers with our gallery here.

Dominique Normand took video of this bruin on East Mill Road looking to confiscate some garbage. As the video shows, a car alarm sends the bear into a tizzy and about 30-feet up into a tree.

The woodland animal eventually makes his way down and takes a quick tour of the back yard before heading into the trees.
