Which Long Valley Roads Need Walkways?

Twp. officials working with county to give Bartley Road walking room.

Aside from the small business district on East Mill Road in Long Valley and a few sidewalks installed in subdivisions throughout Washington Township, the municipality isn't exactly walker-friendly.

The issue was brought up by the Washington Township Committee at a recent meeting of the Morris County Freeholders held in Long Valley, where town officials asked that Bartley Road, a major thoroughfare in town, be looked at for adding a walkway for students between West Morris Central High School and Palmer Park.

So we're asking Long Valley Patch readers this week which roads in town are in need of a walkway for pedestrians? Are there any roads or portions of town you think could use a sidewalk or expanded shoulder?
