24th Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony

The 24th Annual Christmas Tree Lighting Program will be held at 5pm on Sunday, December 5th at the Zion Lutheran Church on Schooley's Mtn. Road in Long Valley.

This is a special event as it celebrates Zion Lutheran Church's 250th anniversary!

The program is co-hosted this year by Zion Lutheran Church and the Garden Club of Long Valley.

Guests will include Mayor Ken Short and a flag ceremony by Boy Scout Troop 236. Rev. Froelke will speak and there will be performances by the Zion Lutheran Church's Bell Choir, Adult Choir and instrumentalists, as well as groups from West Morris Central High School, including the Lorelais, the Noteworthys and a string quartet.

At the conclusion of the program at approximately 6pm, participants will gather outside for the tree lighting and a special visit from Santa!

Everyone from the community is invited to attend the free program and to warm up inside after the lighting ceremony with homemade cookies, hot chocolate and coffee, provided by the Garden Club of Long Valley.
