Basil Rouskas and Ray Brown will be reading their original poetry

Basil Rouskas and Ray Brown will be reading their original poetry at the Washington Twp. Public Library, 37 E. Springtown Rd., Long Valley, NJ on Wednesday, October 13, 2010 at 7:00 p.m.

Basil Rouskas will read his poetry including poems from his book Redrawing Borders recently published by Finishing Line Press.  Reviewers of his book comment that "… the poems in Redrawing Borders, written in the poet's second language, are poems of translation—not linguistic translation but, rather, a translation of place and spirit… They show us ways in which change is navigated—the ways in which "before" and "after" are reconciled. Redrawing Borders is a journey not to be missed..."

Reviewers of his work have described his poetry a "language that will capture your imagination –  entice you to relax in the setting – reminisce - challenge you, at times, to think – and will constantly entertain you."
