Long Valley Junior Women's Club 2011 SUMMER READ-A-THON
For Washington Township children entering 1st through 8th grades
Looking for mystery or adventure this summer? Keep your reading skills sharp by taking a vacation through books. Participate in the 2011 Summer READ-A-THON! This program promotes reading while earning money for the purchase of new children’s books for the Washington Township school libraries and the Public Library. The Long Valley Junior Women’s Club is pleased to offer this program each year as our way of helping to enhance the literacy of our children, to encourage their independent reading, and to contribute funds to the libraries.

Last year the 2010 Summer Read-A-Thon raised over $7,400 for our school and public libraries with the help of local businesses like Taylor’s Ice Cream in Chester and The Book Loft in Mansfield.
This year The Califon Book Shop is generously donating Gift Certificates and coupons for this worthy cause.
