Cool Down With Hot Entertainment This Weekend

Music, benefits and fashion on tap in Long Valley.

The weekend is upon us and the heat wave has finally passed! Celebrate Friday with wine and shopping at the Fashion Swap taking place at the beautiful Long Valley Estates Model Home. Support the American Cancer Society at The Studio of Long Valley by attending their Relay Benefit Concert and enjoy coffee and live entertainment at Long Valley Presbyterian Church Coffee House. As always, don’t forget to nominate a talented kid for our weekly Whiz Kid article!

You Need A Girls Night Out: Attend a Fashion Swap at the Estates at Long Valley Model Home (8 Ridgeline Drive, Long Valley) on Friday, June 10 from 6:30  to 10:30 p.m. for free wine and cheese and a night of shopping for affordable fashion. You Need to Listen to Support: Stop by on Friday, June 10, from 7 to 11 p.m. to attend their Relay Benefit Concert. Hear some local bands play while supporting the American Cancer Society. Tickets are $5; all proceeds go directly to the American Cancer Society. They will also be selling glow sticks, bracelets, and Relay for Life materials to support the Relay for Life Foundation. You Need Cold Brew and Live Entertainment: Come out to the Long Valley Pub and Brewery on Friday, June 10 at 10 p.m. to hear live rock music by Pocket Aces and taste the town’s best brews!

You Need Free Coffee and Music: Head over to the on Saturday, June 11, 2011 from 7 to 9 p.m. for the LVPC’s Joyful Java Coffee House in Fellowship Hall.  Ray Winch, Marie Hsiao and other performers are scheduled to play and there will be an assortment of home-baked goods.
