When Maria’s Café closed in the fall of 2012, Baniel made a split-second decision while boarding a plane to occupy the soon-to-be vacant retail space, and dove into business ownership for the first time.

The Café & Wine Bar is part of Restaurant Village. Dinner is available Thursday through Saturday from 5 to 10 p.m. and the café is closed on Sundays.
