Open for nearly a dozen years, local owners and food win hearts of Washington Township.

Congratulations to Bob’s!

Established in 2000 by Bob and Heidi Prudente, both of whom grew up in Long Valley, the restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, offering a variety of hot and cold plates for customers.

But the pizza–that’s where they’ve made a name for themselves.

“We try and use the best stuff possible, and don’t skimp on the ingredients,” Bob Prudente said. “We keep the recipes secret, but I’d like to think it’s the quality ingredients we use that make people like our pizza.”

Having that local feel doesn’t hurt the restaurant, either. On any given morning, one can bump into police officers, and residents on their way to work grabbing a quick bite or cup of coffee at Bob’s.

“We grew up in town, and it means a lot to be part of the community,” Prudente said. “It’s nice to be able to give someone directions because we know the place, and it’s more personal.”
