The top two vote-getters in our 'Patchcakes' extravaganza will be available for taste testing and final vote at the Sweet Spot Bake Shoppe in Chester from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Who's sweet cream will reign supreme and Mendham-Chester Patch along with Long Valley Patch and the will be holding a taste test for the two cupcake finalists on Sept. 14 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m..

Cheryl Burger, owner of the Sweet Spot Bake Shoppe, has followed up by taking on the task of crafting the perfect Patch cupcake based off of your nominations and votes.

So besides free cupcakes and a chance to be a deciding factor in the what the flavor of local news tastes like, what do you get?

You get to meet and greet Mendham-Chester Patch super editor Russ Crespolini and that guy who edits Long Valley Patch as well!
