You Need to Know There’s a Curfew in Place: By Washington Township ordinance, trick-or-treating hours are designated between 2 and 9 p.m. There are also other curfew hours that you should take note of. .

You Need to Keep an Eye on Candy: While you may go trick-or-treating in your own neighborhood, or places where you feel people can be trusted, keep in mind some of the dangers mixed in with fun. Candy can still be tainted, and kids may not recognize it. Take a look at one of our and tell us your thoughts about the possible dangers.

You Need to Dress for the Occasion: Sure, wear your costume–that’s a given. The weather is calling for no precipitation (awesome!), but it’s not going to be exactly balmy. Temperatures aren’t supposed to go above 50 degrees, according to weather.com, and once the sun goes down, it’s going to get chilly. Be sure to wear the proper attire. It’s hard to unwrap candy when your fingers are numb.
