Closings and Cancelations To Start The Week

Plenty of sports action to take in.

A new work and school week is upon us, and there is plenty to know about in town today. Without further adieu, let’s get to it.

You Need to Know About a Meeting: The West Morris Regional High School Board will hold its regular meeting at 7 p.m. at Mendham High School. The public is encouraged to attend and all are welcome. To see what transpired at the last meeting, go here.

You Need to Know No School: It’s Columbus Day, and our local schools are observing the holiday with day off. Regular class schedules will resume Wednesday in the K-8 district, and Tuesday for West Morris Central. The K-8 district teachers will have professional development both days.

You Need to Get in the Game: There’s a lot of action for West Morris Central’s varsity teams today. Boys’ soccer heads to Delbarton for a 4 p.m. game; girls’ tennis will face Warren Hills on the road at 4 p.m.; and volleyball heads to Wayne Valley High School for a 4:30 p.m. match. Go support your teams!
