Talk about a much-needed weekend. If there was ever a time that Washington Township residents needed a breather, this would be it. We took a look at what was going on around town over the next few days, and honestly, it’s too many to list here. You Need to Recycle Your E-Waste: The Washington Township Green Team, in conjunction with the Washington Township Recycling Department, is holding an e-waste disposal event for unused and unwanted electronics. You Need to Go Golfing: St. Luke’s 6th Annual Golf Outing will kick off at 8 a.m. (check-in) on Friday at the High Bridge Hills Golf Course. From there, the scramble format will have a shotgun start at 10 a.m. and lunch at 2:30 p.m. For more information, .

You Need to Check Out a Garage Sale: The annual Hastings Square multi-family garage sale starts at 9 a.m. Saturday and Sunday. Closing time is expected to be 4 p.m. both days. Tables and goods will be set up at the UPS Store in Hastings Square. Bring your wallet!

You Need to Donate for a Cause: The Long Valley Competition Cheerleaders Association will hold a clothing drive at 8 a.m. at Rock Spring Park on Saturday. The A&E Clothing Corporation will take all the donated goods at 5 p.m., so be sure to get there before then. For more information on what can be given,

You Need to Have Breakfast: Over at the Schooley’s Mountain Fire Protection building from 8 a.m. to noon on Sunday, you’ll be able to eat eggs, sausage, pastries and a bunch of other goodies. Funds will benefit the fire department. Enjoy!
