Flooding Cancels Fireworks Festival for 2011
WTCEO makes the call after flash flooding on Wednesday, Sept. 28.
The Washington Township Community Events Organization announced today that the Kevin M. Walsh Fireworks Festival scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 1 has been officially canceled.
The group decided that conditions would not allow them to operate as normal, and have pushed back the event to the summer of 2012.
