Nominate the Best Handyman

Let us know the best handyman so we can put it to a vote and find out which is the Readers’ Choice 2012 winner.

Where can you find the best handyman in the Long Valley area?

Patch is re-launching its Readers’ Choice program and we’re asking you, your friends, family, neighbors, coworkers and anyone else who knows about handyman to nominate the best spots in Long Valley Patch.

We’ll keep accepting nominations through July 9. After that, nominations will be closed and we’ll start the voting, so make sure to get in your favorites now.

All you need to do to nominate a handyman is to add it in the comments below. If you already see the handyman you want to nominate, make sure to add your comment about why it should be included, because we may not be able to add all businesses to our poll and we want to make sure the top ones make it into the poll.

We've worked with KURT HOBOKAN for over a decade. He's been a lifesaver for us. Kurt's based in Hackettstown, and was introduced to us by the person from whom we bought a home in Green Township over a decade ago, and we've worked with him for our seven years in Long Valley. He's helped us with everything from new doors, sliders, carpentry, plumbing, floors, new bathrooms and more. Very reasonable, stands by his price quote, does what he says he'll do, and the work is always great quality. He doesn't have a web site (he's not a big business, he's just Kurt), but you can reach him at khobokan@msn.com and 908-763-1466.

I've used Kurt Hobokan after a recommendation, and have found him to be a good honest person. He does great work, has years of experience, is prompt, is upfront about any costs (time & material), and suggests things that a home owner may not have considered. He does the work as he would want to have it done in his own home. He also has the ability to look at a project and give different cost estimates for different possible solutions. This is awesome if you're on a budget and want to weigh the different options for your project.

Without question, the BEST Handyman in town is Joe Stulpin. Joe is the best at what he does- meticulous. Just like our police department. He works for dirt free rates ( just like our police department ). He gives it 100% and always delivers ( just like our police department ). He is always on call & will respond for any corrections ( just like our police department ). Joe just asks for one thing - a FAIR wage. Period. He delivers EVERY time.

Sam Hollien will offer the best possible price while offering the highest level of service. He is reliable, reasonable and explains the job.

Sam Hollien is by far the best handyman anywhere! He is professional, courteous, resonably priced, efficient, and incredibly skilled. I wouldn't want anyone else in my home doing the jobs Sam has done for me. In fact, he's so great to have around, I'm looking forward to my next project!
