Regional School Board Meeting Monday Night

Can you believe the first month of 2012 is nearly over? Crazy, isn’t it? Well, before we usher in February this week, let’s take a look at what’s going on around town today.

You Need to Know About a Board Meeting: The West Morris Regional Board of Education will hold its regular meeting at 7 p.m. at West Morris Central High School. Topics will include the ongoing process of finding a new superintendent as well as discussion about the possibility of moving school elections from April to November. The meeting is open to the public, and all are welcomed to attend.

You Need to Know About a Teen Program: Over at the from 7 to 8 p.m. will be a workshop about how to make a fleece pillow for students in grades nine through 12. For more information, go here.

You Need to Get in the Game: The are in action today, including: the boys and girls winter track teams competing at the Randolph Shot Put Invitational at 5 p.m.; the boys and girls varsity fencing teams Chatham High School at 6 p.m.; and the varsity ice hockey team hosting Morristown High School at 6:30 p.m. Go support your teams!
