Sign Up For Track, Prepare For A Big Dinner

Plenty going on at the library today.

OK, so the weekend was a little messy with the snow. But let’s be honest, we’ve gotten away pretty easy so far this winter (remember, that ‘other’ ugly snowstorm happened in October). Now that it’s Monday, and life is back in order, let’s see what’s going on around town.

You Need to Register for Track: Sign ups for the Long Valley Track team begin today at the Washington Township Library from 6 to 9 p.m. Other sign up days are Feb. 7 and Feb. 15 if you can’t make the initial registration date. To find out more about the team and the registration, go here.

You Need to See What Middle Valley is All About: And this Saturday is the annual Middle Valley Community Center member dinner, but the organization is opening the event to all of Long Valley. If you’d like to stop in, have some food, and see what organization is all about, go here.

You Need to Know About Exercising As You Age: The will offer a Lunch ‘n’ Learn from noon to 2 p.m. The program, called “The Benefits of Exercise As We Age” will be hosted by Matt Salerno from Kessler Rehab. There is no cost for the program. To find out more and register, .

You Need to Know About a Search: The West Morris Regional Board of Education will hold a public meeting at to discuss the search . The meeting will begin at 7 p.m., but no formal action is expected to take place.
