Tour Baseball Parks, Register For a Field Trip on Monday

Don't forget to catch a game and nominate a whiz kid.

You Need to Register for a Field Trip: The Washington Township Recreation Department is sponsoring a trip to the Columbus Farmers’ Market on Sept. 8. Deadline to register is June 29. For more information, contact the office at 908-876-5941.

You Need Tour Baseball Parks: But stay in Long Valley. The Washington Township Library is showcasing a presentation about baseball parks and American landscapes from 7 to 9 p.m. The free presentation is funded by the New Jersey Council for the Humanities.

You Need to Know About Plans: The Washington Township Planning Board will meet at 7:30 p.m. at the municipal building. The public is encouraged to attend.

You Need to Support Your Teams: The West Morris Central High School spring sports teams are in action today. Here’s the schedule: Boys’ varsity golf will play on the road against Parsippany Hills High School. Tee time is 3:10 p.m. The boys’ varsity baseball team will host Randolph High School at 4 p.m. The girls’ varsity softball team will head to Randolph for a 4 p.m. game. The boys’ varsity tennis team will host Randolph High School at 4 p.m.
