Water Restrictions In Effect For Seventh Year

Since 2007, a portion of residents on Schooley’s Mountain have had their water usage restricted between May 15 and September 15 each year. This year is no different, and the Washington Township Municipal Utilities Authority’s executive director says it’s not going away any time soon.

Teen Charged in Fake Luring Incident

Police have brought charges against a 13-year-old Mt. Olive Township boy who sent authorities on a wild goose chase after reporting a man had tried to lure him into his van. The story turned out to be a lie, however.

New Assistant Principal Hired for Middle School

After accepting the resignation of its Jay Eitner, the then-assistant principal last August, the Washington Township School district went forward with the hiring process and brought in Ellyn High. She’ll assume her new administrative role in the district in July.
