Week Ahead: Rally and Rah-Rah in Long Valley

Get those books ready for drop off at the library.

We’re entering the final full week of April and as the temperatures warm up, so do the events. Let’s take a look at what’s going on around town this week.

You Need to Rally: On Saturday, April 28, the community-launched will take place at 6:30 p.m. at on West Mill Road. The rally will benefit Glenn Lightner, a 13-year-old student battling brain cancer. Tickets are pre-sale only.

You Need to Drop Off Some Books: The book sale is around the corner, and the library is now accepting gently used books, CDs, and DVDs. For more information, .

You Need to Tryout: The Long Valley Recreation and Competition Cheerleading teams will hold tryouts this week at the Long Valley Middle School, Monday through Wednesday from 6:30 to 8 p.m.

You Need Some Needles: The New Jersey Needle Festival will come to Church of the Messiah in Chester on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. A $15 entry fee is required, but a pre-ordered lunch is available. .
