Week in Review: High Fives All Around!

From heroes to budgets, the week was packed with information.

Another tremendous week comes to a close in Long Valley, this one capped off with a swirl of holidays (Earth Day, Good Friday and Easter Sunday). Long Valley Patch is proud of the news and information it’s able to share with its readers, and this past week epitomized the quality of what this site is intended to do. Although Long Valley Patch’s week goes Monday through Sunday, and we ran this story last Sunday, you need to know about Christian Deehan, a student in town who’s sixth grade service project was truly unique. Deehan helped 63 students with cerebral palsy learn about the game of soccer. Here’s , and here are some pictures from the event itself.

The West Morris Regional School District made a decision on who will lead West Morris Central’s next generation as head principal. Steve Ryan, an assistant principal with Mountain Lakes, was chosen over Bill Carpluk of Mendham High School, who holds the same position. For more information, .
