Week in Review: You Spoke, And We Listened

It was an opinion-filled week in Long Valley.

Sunday, March 20 marks the first day of spring, and Long Valley had a nice taste of the weather to come during the final week of winter. As always, it was a news-filled week at Long Valley Patch, and there was plenty of information to take note of. In case you missed it, here’s our week in review.

In the aftermath of the devastating earthquake and tsunami that struck Japan last week, Practical Spirit columnist MaryLynn Schiavi reached out to local faith organizations to see what help, if any, they were providing to those in need on the small island country. The Washington Township Committee held its monthly work session and discussed the introduction of a resolution that would urge individual school districts to merge into one regional district.
