West Morris Sends Off Another Class Tuesday Night

Other goings on in town to take note of as well.

It’s the first day of summer! Time for barbecues, swimming, shorts, and all the great amenities that accompany warm weather (if you haven’t started already). Let’s take a look at what’s going on in town today as you get the season started.

You Need to Know About Graduates: The senior class of West Morris Central High School will take the final step in its journey toward graduation, as commencement will be held tonight at 5:30 p.m. Congratulations to the class of 2011!

You Need to Attend a Board Meeting: The Washington Township School District will hold its final board meeting of the school year, with the public session beginning at 7:30 p.m. at Long Valley Middle School. The public is encouraged to attend.

You Need to Get Your Blood Pressure Screened: The Washington Township Health Department is offering a free blood pressure screening at the senior center at Rock Spring Park from 10:30 a.m. to noon. All township residents are invited to participate.

You Need to Know History: The Washington Township Historical Society will hold its regular meeting at 7:30 p.m. at the Historical Museum. The public is encouraged to attend.
