The
Third Annual Pottersville Pig Roast is September 14th at the Life Camp. For the
best deal on tickets make your reservations
by September 9th (Reservation forms available at http://pottersville.rcachurches.org
and click on the Community Pig Roast link) A limited number of tickets will be available at the
door. This event will be a lot of
fun, and provides a good chance for us to interact with our neighbors and make
new friends as well. At the same
time we are supporting a good cause right here in our back yard while giving
both our local church and Life Camp some good P.R. It is our goal to raise $500 toward camp scholarships, with
any additional proceeds going toward needed repairs on the Pottersville church
belfry.
The Pottersville
Pig Roast and All You Can Eat Buffet, complete with all the fixings’ of a sure
down home meal is catered by “Have Pig Will Travel from Ringoes, New
Jersey. The Red Oak Country
Boys, featuring blue grass and county music, and The Five Straws brass quintet
will provide some musical entertainment.
There will be a Silent Auction of items donated by local merchants. In addition, there will be an array of
children’s activities and games.

The Life Camp is
one of the day camps where inner city children come for a rural camp
experience. It is through fund raising events like this one that bring
communities and people together for a common good. Children deserve a bit
of fun, lots of laughter, and hugs in a safe and peaceful
environment which is found, right here in Pottersville, a little hidden
jewel of a village with a big big heart!

your spot by September 9th. The Pig Roast will be held on September 14
between 4pm and 7pm, on the grounds of the Life Camp, 67 McCann Mill Road,
Pottersville, New Jersey. Advance tickets range from Adults $22, Seniors'
$18, Youth $11 and Kids under 7 free! Please join us for this important
community event and bring a smile to a child’s face!
If you can’t attend, but would like to help
fund a camp scholarship or donate to the belfry repairs, checks can be sent to
Pottersville Reformed Church, PO Box 89, Pottersville NJ 07979…just designate
“Life Camp” or “belfry” in the notes.
