Music in the Somerset Hills presents Caritas Chamber Chorale in concert

On Sunday, March 16, 2014 at 4:00 pm at Lamington
Presbyterian Church in Lamington, NJ, Music in the Somerset Hills will present Caritas
Chamber Chorale in concert.  An ensemble
with a unique and compassionate mission, Caritas Chamber Chorale is dedicated
to serving the poorest of the poor through the art of sacred choral music.
Through concert proceeds and free-will donations, the Chorale supports the
Gianni Diurni Primary School in Goma, Congo, which serves children who would
otherwise have no access to education.
The singers will offer a program entitled “Our Hearts Are Filled to
Overflowing – Releasing the Song Within Us," featuring beautiful a
cappella choral music from early American hymn tunes to new works, including
the premiere of Christ Before Us by
Wayne Dietterick, composer-in-residence. Admission is free, though a free-will
offering of $20 will be gratefully accepted.
Tickets may be reserved online in advance at www.MusicSH.org/concerts, or acquired
at the door while supplies last.

This program is presented as part of Music in the Somerset
Hills’ Community Concerts series.  Currently
in its third season, the series runs from October through June, and features
some of the New York Metropolitan Area's finest professional vocalists,
instrumentalists and ensembles performing in beautiful and varied venues
throughout the area.
Overseen by Artistic Director Stephen Sands, Music
in the Somerset Hills was established to provide residents of the Somerset
Hills and the surrounding region with an unparalleled variety of opportunities
to hear, perform and learn about the world's great classical music.  The organization is committed to an
exceptional level of historically-informed and masterful performance, as well
as to expanding the scope and variety of performance opportunities for
professional and amateur musicians who live and work in the region, and
creating opportunities for all people to pursue excellent musical education and
find fellowship.

Support for the 2012-2013 season
of Music in the Somerset Hills is provided, in part, by Peapack-Gladstone Bank and
a generous grant from the Isabel and Algernon M. Ellien Foundation.  More information may be found at the
organization's website: www.MusicSH.org, as well as on its Facebook page.
