The Washington Township Community Garden is just a few hundred votes away from receiving a load of cash to help with the garden
As of Monday, Aug. 26, the WTCG became one of 100 finalists in the PNC Neighborhood Wishlist contest that could bring in $500, but they need the community’s help.
In order to vote, according to Community Garden founder Diane Muenzen, residents need to go on Facebook and ‘like’ PNC Bank.
From there, head over to pncneighborhoodwishlist.com and follow the prompts. You can search for Washington Township Community Garden, where you’ll see a photo from April 27. Click on the picture and follow the directions, Muenzen said.
She does warn, however, that the voting process isn’t the easiest, especially for the not-so-web-savvy.
Participants can vote three times and earn three more by sharing the link to the voting page. Votes can be cast until Sept. 16, Muenzen said.
The group’s page needs 500 votes to receive the wish list funds.
