Washington Township Public Library Giving Tree

The Washington Township Public Library staff is again sponsoring a Holiday Giving Tree to benefit the Washington Township Food Pantry. We plan to decorate the tree with new warm hats, mittens, socks, slippers and scarves and place donations of canned goods under the tree to donate to the local food pantry. We encourage our patrons to drop off any of the needed items during Library hours from November 29th to December 13th. The Giving Tree will be part of our display of the history of holiday decorating and celebrations. On display will be books, available for checkout, on holiday crafts, history, cookery, and decorating. Many different religions and cultures celebrate holidays during the month of December. It is truly a month of reflection and celebration.
