'Special' Daisy Lou in Search of Forever Home

Four-year old mix loves everyone she meets.

Daisy Lou isn’t your ordinary dog.

This 4-year-old Treeing Walker Coonhound mix is as sweet as they come and fits in wherever she goes. Daisy Lou loves to meet new people and new dogs.

What makes her special is how she’s overcome a disability. Born with a deformed front leg, the pup needed surgery to remove the limb. Daisy Lou is now classified as a “special needs” dog with three legs.

But don’t tell Daisy Lou she has special needs, because she certainly doesn’t think so. She’s mastered the stairs and loves to go for walks. She has no problems getting around on her own.

Daisy Lou is ready for her forever home and is up for adoption through Eleventh Hour Rescue. Find out more about Daisy Lou and other adoptable pets at ehrdogs.org, or call 973-664-0865.
