Even Hercules Can't Stop Long Valley Wrestlers

While most of us enjoyed a day off from school or work on Friday after snowstorm Hercules dropped 6 inches of snow on our area, Long Valley wrestlers prepared for weekend competition at Centenary College.  Centenary College (the 6th-ranked Division III college wrestling team in the nation last season) opened its doors to 30 members of the Wolfpack wrestling team Friday afternoon, and 3 Centenary wrestlers put the young Wolfpack through a college-style workout in its state-of-the-art wrestling facility in Hackettstown.  Zach Huxford, Josh Sibbles, and Chris Burdge instructed the workout while Centenary assistant coach Vlad Frick looked on.  Wolfpack coach Sean Dolan was impressed with Centenary's wrestlers:  "these guys took time out of their training schedules to work with our kids, and their enthusiasm was remarkable; our wrestlers really got a lot out of it, and very much look up to these guys."
