The "Michaels" (Ferrante and Campanaro) joined Robbie Bohr as repeat Northwest League (6th grade and under) champions Saturday at Wallkill Valley High School, leading Long Valley to a 4th place League finish. Ferrante and Bohr earned their 2nd consecutive League titles, while Campanaro recorded his 3rd in a row.
Joining the trio in the finals was Colin Loughney, ultimately placing 2nd. The Wolfpack entered 14 wrestlers in the tournament, placing a total of 12 wrestlers in the top eight:

Also this weekend, Marco Gaita and Matt Liberato joined Dan Kern and Grayson Dolan as the Wolfpack's youth state tournament qualifiers with 3 more qualification opportunities to go. Gaita placed 1st in his qualifying tournament, while Liberato dropped a tough 1-0 decision in finals to place second.
The Tri-County team tournament was postponed a week because of the inclement weather, so the Wolfpack will complete it's season this coming weekend when the Tri-County team and Future Stars wrestlers pursue individual and team tournament championships.
