It's been 11 years since America was dealt its most painful blow. 

And it seems like just yesterday. 

The anniversary of the terrorist attacks that struck the United States in New York City, western Pennsylvania and Washington D.C. on September 11, 2001 is upon us, for the eleventh time, and no year gets any easier–just farther away.

Last year, when America recalled a decade's worth of memories, sadness, triumphs and tribulations that stemmed from that fateful day, we, as a media outlet, did the same.
