Workshop Helps Parents with Getting Kids into College

The College Benefits Research Group is sponsoring a free community workshop for parents of college bound high school students on strategies for maximizing your family’s college financial aid and lowering your out-of-pocket costs.  

Additionally, parents can speak with a top-ranked academic planner who can discuss the selection and admissions process, essay writing and interviewing skills. 

The workshop will be held Wednesday, Feb. 12 at 7 p.m. at the Montville Township Public Library, 90 Horseneck Road in Montville, and will reveal what parents of high school students need to know as they take on the challenge of applying to, being accepted at and paying for college.
