Great Grandmother, Long Valley Woman Dies at 99
Margaret Chambers lived in town for 27 years.
Margaret “Peggy” Chambers spent nearly 50 years in western Morris County, the last 27 of which were in Long Valley.
Even more impressive, Chambers lived to the amazing age of 99.
She died recently at her home, according to her obituary.

Chambers enjoyed sewing and swimming and lived for her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by two grandsons and three great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her daughter and two sisters. Chambers would have turned 100 on September 2 this year.
