Long Valley’s ‘Mr. Fix It’ Dies at 63

While he was born in Newark, David McManus was well-known in Long Valley. The 63-year-old lived in town and owned his business here.

McManus died at his home on Jan. 16 at the age of 63.

He was the owner of Mr. Fix It, according to his obituary, and was the father to three children: Harmony, Alexander, and Matthew. He was also a grandfather of two.

McManus is also survived by four brothers and two sisters.
