Lance Statement on Formation of Benghazi Select Committee

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman Leonard Lance (NJ-07) tonight released the following statement after the House of Representatives passed H.Res. 567, which will establish a Select Committee tasked with uncovering the truth surrounding the 2012 terrorist attack in Benghazi:

“The House took definitive action this evening and voted to establish a special committee to conduct a fair, thorough and comprehensive investigation into the Islamic terrorist attacks in Benghazi.  I supported this action because I believe Congress has the solemn responsibility to uncover the truth surrounding the events that led to the deaths of four Americans.”
