Two New York men were arrested on drug charges Friday after marijuana and cocaine were found in their vehicle, Chester Township Police said.
Cpl. Chris Cavanagh stopped Salvatore Etter, 21, of Staten Island, on Route 206 at about 11:30 p.m. for having a license plate lamp violation, Lt. Tom Williver said. During an investigation, Cavanagh found Etter to be in possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and he received another summons for possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle, Williver said.
Etter’s passenger, Bilal Moustapha, 23, of Brooklyn, was found in possession of cocaine, Williver said. He was charged with possession of a suspected cocaine, two counts of possession of a controlled dangerous substance, a schedule II drug without a prescription and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Both were released pending court appearances. Etter will face a judge in Chester Township, and Moustapha will have a court date in Morristown Superior Court.
