Car Fire Snarls Schooley's Mountain Morning Traffic
No injuries as a result of car blaze, police said.
A car heading south on Schooley's Mountain Road Friday morning caught fire and was completely overtaken by flames, creating detours during the morning rush.
Members of the Schooley's Mountain Fire Company and Long Valley Fire Company assisted at the scene.
There were no injuries as a result of the fire, Washington Township Police Lt. Art Adams said. Traffic was detoured onto Camp Washington Road for motorists heading south, and onto Fairview Avenue for motorists heading north.
