Cops: Budd Lake Woman Drove Drunk on Easter

A Budd Lake woman was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated late on Easter Sunday after saw her car swerving on the road, Lt. Doug Compton said. 

Marlene Gibbs, 41, was pulled over in Peachtree Village when officer Roger Garrison noticed her SUV being operated in an erratic manner, Compton said.

Garrison noticed Gibbs appeared intoxicated, Compton said, and requested the driver take field sobriety tests. Gibbs failed those tests, Compton said, and was subsequently placed under arrest.

Gibbs provided breath samples at , Compton said, and was charged with driving while intoxicated, reckless driving, failure to keep right and failure to produce documents.
