A 26-year-old Long Valley woman failed a field sobriety test after swerving over the centerline and failing to use a turn signal, said.
Patrolman Ryan Steckel stopped Meghan Lake on Parker Road after observing her crossing across the centerline and failing to signal a turn, police said.
According to police, Lake appeared to have consumed alcohol and Steckel administered a field sobriety test to determine if Lake was under the influence.
Lake was charged with failure to keep right, failure to signal a turn, reckless driving and driving under the influence, and was released from custody pending an appearance in, police said.
